My Dream, My Future

Dream your own dream
And follow your own star...

What is/are your dream/s in life? Do you want to achieve it? What should you do to achieve your dream? Is sacrifice enough?

Before I'll take the road that i have chosen I'm just making sure if that road is for my lifelong happiness and success. As a fourth year student, I can't decide what course shall I'll take up when I am in college whether BSA or Commerce Major in Accounting. Actually both of them I want to take up but for me it is better to choose the right one because if I choose them both I know that my parents will never stop because of me and my sake and if I choose the right one I know that the earlier, the better. If I'll take up BSA, what if I will not reach the grade 85% so meaning I'm just wasting my time, money and effort? You what I am negative thinker that was they saying to me. Maybe they are right, but for me I'm just making the things very clearly and sure so that whether the outcome is good or bad, for me, it's ok because myself was ready for that things. If I'll take up Commerce it's ok for me together with my family but except to my mother. My mother wants me to take up BSA because she believes in my ability that I will pass my board then I will become C.P.A., that is only the dream of my mother to me.

Right now, I'm just thinking about what kind of courses shall I'll take up when I am in college. But I agreed to myself that if the result of my UNP-CAT is in higher percent then I'll take BSA but if the result is in lower percent then I'll choose Commerce and that was an agreement. And I believe that " There are no shortcuts on the way to a dream so give all that you have to all you do. And above all things, believe in yourself. This is all your dream asks of you, But this is everything."

Change: It starts with me

Changes? What do you mean? Is it changes in own life, likes, dreams or society? Whatever to them I think and I believe I need some changes not only for me or myself but it's all of us.

Sometimes I'm wondering why should I need some changes? Maybe I want to change the things to make it more progress like in our society, As of now, I can say that our society is not yet improving because of the happenings like crimes and most of the victims are us teenagers. Sometimes I almost forgotten to what Dr. Jose Rizal said during his generation that We teenagers are the progress of our own society. But as of now, I can say that it aws a nonsense because as you see some of us teenagers are do not want to do something to make our society good and progress. Some of us do not doing their responsibilities as a "mamamayan." My friend, if you want some changes, ask yourself what should you and I do to make our society progress?

Changes? Right now, I want some changes especially un our society but before I achieve that changes of course I will start it to myself so that I will be a model to them.

KANNAWIDAN ( YLOCOS FESTIVAL )

Kannawidan, what does it mean? Are you aware that there is a Kannawidan after the Feast of St. Paul?

Actually after celebrating the Feast of St. Paul, the Kannawidan is coming there to celebrate again. Year 2007 was the formally started of Kannawidan. According to the people, Kannawidan was all about culture and traditions. As you go infront of the Ilocos Sur Capitol, you will see the beautiful stage which some famous artist are performing there. Also, Kannawidan is the event that most of us are waiting for. Not because of the beautiful faces of our favorite artist but of course it's all about the different products in Ilocos Sur from Sinait to Tagudin. Because of Kannawidan we can see the products of different places and we can buy their products if we want.

For me, Kannawidan was the reason why I've encountered the different products here in Ilocos Sur. And I believe that one day, Kannawidan Festival will be famous not only in the Region but in the entire Philippines.

Way Back to the Past

" We cannot change the past

We can only learn from it
And try to avoid the same
mistakes in the future"

Yah! That's true. As a fourth year student, I can compare that saying to my studies, why?

In my ICT IV, my groupmates and I did our project for the third grading period. First, we don't know were doing because the one who knows what to do is not present. So, Michelle and I decided to do our project. We made some parts of our project that day. The next day, we tried to open our homepage but the things we've done yesterday, we didn't saw it. So we decided to do it again. And I've learned in my ICT IV how to make a homepage and that was all about our project.

I've encountered a lot of problems like in doing our/my project, not only in ICT IV but of all my subjects. Of course, in doing projects we need a money. So financial problem is one of my problems. I had also a problem on the household chores because that responsibilities makes my time less in doing my assignments, projects and of course in reviewing my notes.

I will address those challenges by being thrifty to my allowance and by managing my time.

Moving on, I will be industrious in my studies. And the past will be my learnings.

2011: Year of the Rabbit

In every journey in our life, we always say "Goodbye". For me, saying goodbye means not last but it is only the right word to say.

Goodbye 2010 and Welcome 2011!!!

New Year, New Hope. Yes, I believe. I know that everyone of us are saying this words when another year will come. But if we try to notice about HOPE, I know that hope is always there to us. If you think that 2010 is a bad year to you,I will advice you friend, " don't lost hope". Before I'll say finally welcome to 2011, I want only to say "thank you" for 2010 because that year made me strong because of the challenges that I've encountered in my life.

1.1.11. Is 1 a lucky number? How do you celebrated the 1st event of the year? Is it happy, happier or happiest?

My family and I celebrated our New Year at the Mira Hills, why? Because at the Mira Hills, we celebrated our first family reunion of the year. But before 1.1.11 came, we prepared our media noche like spaghetti and barbecue. I greeted also my family, friends and classmates a "Happy Hew Year" because I know that this is the only thing I can do for them for the 1st day of the year. Now, I welcome 2011 and I hope that this year will give me a more blessings especially to my family. BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

What Christmas means to me?!!

Christmas is an event most anticipated Christians all over the world. The Philippines is known to have the longest Christmas season. Christmas in the Philippines is always a festive occasion. Why? It's because if we heard the word "ber" it means it's Christmas.

LOVE. I do believe that "love" is the most important or most significant of Christmas. How do we show our love to our family, friends, special someone and of course to God during this Christmas? Through gifts? For me, gifts are very useless unless it came from the heart of the person who gave that gift to you. We show our love to our loved one's by simply greeting them a "MERRY CHRISTMAS" but of course it must come from the deepest part of our heart.

UNITY. God wants unity this Christmas especially us people. Not only Christmas seasons but it must be everyday.

PEACE. Of course, if there is a unity there is a peace, am I right? But in this part we must forgive our enemy or foe so that our Christmas will be peace and merry.

Christmas is the time when relatives and friends visiting each other so there were always people traveling and visiting with great joy. I always thought that was what Christmas was all about: LOVE, UNITY & PEACE.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
